Generate to a blueprint
Choose exact question types, counts, difficulty, marks, topics, learning outcomes, and whether a visual should be reused or newly generated from the same concept. Candidates must pass structural and citation-grounding checks before Review.
Review before insertion
Edit, accept, or discard every candidate. Evidence, deterministic quality checks, and within-paper duplicate detection run before Review. Only valid, source-backed candidates reaching Review count.
When the plan allowance is used, each additional question costs C$0.20. Reusing a source image remains one question unit; creating a new visual uses four question units and costs C$0.80. Every plan can top up its normal prepaid balance; no separate AI balance is required.

What is the difference between Active Exams and Exam Attempts?
Active Exams deals with .smex files and limits the number of exam files that can exist in Manager at any given time.
Exam Attempts counts how many attempts were started across all exams during the current month. On the Starter plan the included attempts are a one-time total instead: they do not reset each month.
How does source-backed AI question authoring work?
Each plan includes a monthly organization-wide allowance for valid, source-backed questions that reach Review. Failed requests and candidates rejected by validation do not count. After the allowance, each question costs C$0.20 from your normal prepaid balance, which every plan can top up from Billing. A question that reuses a source image uses one unit; a question with a newly generated visual uses four units and costs C$0.80.
What does Live Exam Proctoring include?
This feature allows your organization to invigilate examinees and set proctor policies. You get live streams from the examinee's webcam, screen and microphone. Recording and retained playback are not currently available. Examinees can only start their exam after receiving explicit approval from the invigilator. You can communicate with examinees over text and/or voice and send several commands to either pause, stop, logout, or ban examinees.
Do my Exam Credits expire?
Exam Credits are for the Flexible plan and do not currently expire.
What is the Data Retention Policy?
For the Starter plan, exams and examinees that have not been active for a month are deleted. You will receive email reminders before they are deleted.
For all paid monthly plans, as long as your subscription is active, your data will remain. If your subscription becomes inactive, all data will be deleted after 3 months. You will receive email reminders before they are deleted.
For the Flexible plan, Exams and Examinees that have been inactive for more than 3 months are deleted. You will receive email reminders before they are deleted.
